Response: No one can deny the paramount importance of education. A debate has emerged about whether students should be focused just on their main subjects rather than studying other subjects. I argue that the positive consequences of learning other subjects beside your main one, particularly in terms of personal development and social impacts, far outweigh the drawbacks, making it a largely beneficial approach. On the one hand, many opponents claim that a number of disadvantages are associated with this strategy. They believe that students cannot understand their core subjects due to the fact that they have to spend a vast amount of time to other lessons. Consequently, they will be faced with many hardships in the future, especially when they want to address a project related to their expertise, owing to lack of enough knowledge that rooted in that they do not dedicate time to core courses. Moreover, a growing body of research indicates that focusing in multiple subjects often comes with unsuitable results. Which is why, scientists have proposed students that learn many subjects at the same time can be a reckless mission. On the other hand, numerous proponents assert this is a though-provoking idea that could lead to many benefits. For example, through studying various lessons students show a better performance in their main subjects. A poignant example can be found in a survey conducted in Japan, which revealed that those students who opt for this approach can achieve better mark in their exams. Furthermore, by learning another subject along with main one students become multidimensional, increasing their employability. Thus, this underscores the long-lasting personal and social advantages of prioritizing learning additional courses beside the core course. In conclusion, concentrating just on core subjects by students is thought by some to be the best strategy, many declare that it can be beneficial that they have knowledge of other subjects. I firmly believe that the multitude of benefits derived from this approach can pave the way for students to have a bright future especially to secure job

The Impact of Sugar Tax on Consumption

Response: Nowadays, various health issues in the public are caused by the high rate of sugar content in manufactured food and drinks. Some argue that the best method to avoid these problems is for governments to increase the prices of these kinds of food and drink. While I agree that manufactured foods and drinks have direct effects on health problems, I believe that there are more alternative measures that governments can take to address this situation. On the one hand, it is true that processed food and drink have fewer nutrients than domestic meals; in fact, these types of foods often contain significant levels of sugar. Therefore, manufactured food and drink play a crucial role in increasing diseases, such as diabetes. They are always part of people’s diets regardless of age and gender, like a child taking packaged cakes every day to school, or adults consuming ready-made drinks. Moreover, obesity and a sedentary lifestyle are other drawbacks. For example, children have an obsession with eating ice creams, chocolates, and sodas; as a result, in adulthood they might face those problems besides the health issues. On the other hand, while others advocate for higher prices of factory-made products to people discourage from purchasing them, in my opinion, there are more productive methods that can be used by governments. Firstly, raising public awareness about the problems through advertisements in talk shows or on social media platforms. Additionally, the government can take an important step through its educational system, which directly has an essential impact on children. Mostly, teachers are the greatest role models for their students. Finally, the health system makes a significant contribution in this matter. For instance, doctors and nurses can educate patients about their well-being, encouraging them to monitor their diets more closely. In conclusion, processed food and drink products have detrimental effects on human health due to their considerable amounts of sugars. Some people consider that individuals will be less attracted to these kinds of products, if governments introduce laws to increase their prices. Although I completely agree with the health issues, such as diabetes and obesity, I disagree with this solution. In my view, governments can tackle this problem through the educational and health systems.

Response: These days, it is essential for people to take risks, both in their professional lives and their personal lives. While there are some drawbacks to take risks, I think that its benefits are more important and outweigh the drawbacks for several reasons that I will mention in this essay. To begin with, taking risks bring more benefits for people, both in their professional and personal lives because of the importance of a chance to achieve their goals. When people tend to take risks in their careers, they may lay the foundation for more achievements. Take employees are unfulfilled with their current job, for example; if they take risks and quit their job, they may not only find their favourite careers but also upgrade their positions, leading to greater income. Similarly, taking risk in their personal lives can result in personal growth such as people who follow new hobbies, making them to experience new things and find their abilities, leading to shaping their character more resilience. On the other hand, taking risks can sometimes bring negative consequences. When people decide to take risks in their lives, they may encounter several problems, needing to a lot of perseverance and determination. Having these qualities can be really difficult for certain people. For example, some businesses may go to bankruptcy if they cannot overcome financial issues. In terms of personal life, some uncalculated risks may result in emotional distress or setbacks. Particularly, when they make informed decisions about their relationships. In conclusion, although risks may pose challenges, l believe that its benefits are more significant and outweigh the disadvantages due to its potential to make people pursue their goals, and personal development and success that come from taking risks are invaluable.

Balancing Main and Additional Subjects in University Education

Response: Curriculum content is a source of debate among those attending university. Some students advocate for extra modules, in addition to their main subject, while others take an opposing view, suggesting that study schedules should be confined to specific syllabi. However, a well-rounded education is a combination of both and I subscribe to the notion, that a balanced program will prepare attendees thoroughly based on their goals and expectations. On one hand, every student has different goals to achieve which should be highlighted before choosing a career. Some degrees suggest a wide range of studies, such as bachelor 's degrees, which gives participants a broad perspective on their tertiary education. In this context, it essential for this level of education to foster knowledge-seekers general know-how about the science regarding their degrees. For example, a Bachelor of Science (BS) and Bachelor of Art (BA), are among courses that aim to teach attendants a variety of topics, including principles of engineering and trading respectively. Therefore, introducing extracurricular subjects would be constructive and beneficial for students at this stage, especially for overachievers. On the flip side, in terms of higher education like Master of Science (MS) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), which are precisely and meticulously designed for specific subject areas, additional subjects would be absurd and unnecessary, because these types of advanced degrees are associated with one particular dissertation, requiring students to allocate a great deal of attention and time in order to make progress in that special area of science. As a result, the less students devote their time and energy to other supplementary subjects, the less they waste their effort. For example, when it comes to finishing the Master's and PhD degrees, experts are obliged to spend at least one year completing their research and managing their final dissertation, ending up defending their thesis which can be challenging and rigorous. In conclusion, as discussed above, every stage of education is defined to convey certain level of knowledge to students. Depending on the course, overall and accurate materials are prepared for bachelor's and Master's degree programs. However, it is common to see during the former category (BS), extracurricular studies are arranged in addition to major career whereas the latter one (MS) is confined and restricted to one specific area of science.

Response: It is argued that children are often taught hardworking is a crucial key to achieve anything in some cultures. In my opinion although this massage can bring inspiration and motivation, at the same time it may lead to stress and disappointment. To begin with, children will be motivated when they are aware of hardworking outcomes. If they know that working hard ends up with success, they will be inspired to put all of their effort. This inspiration encourages them to confidently overcome the challenges through hardships. For example, students who are tested every month during the courses at high school, they will be well-prepared to the entrance exam of the university. However, they may suffer a lot through this path and also spend much time on daily studying, but facing to big challenges will be more attainable for them. On the other hand, there are some drawbacks to accepting hardworking as an only key to success. Children who believe in trying hard may be frustrated in following the skill in which they don’t have talent. For example, a child who has this belief and is not talented in painting will be disappointed when finds out after a lot of endeavor she hasn’t had any improvement. Furthermore, this massage not only may bring frustration but also stress. Children who don’t see any improvement after a lot of endeavors will get stressed for not trying enough. To conclude, teaching children that hard work always bring success is an appropriate way to motivate them; however, this belief may result in mental issues such as frustration and stress.

The Emphasis on Novelty in Advertising

Response: In recent decades, there has been notable growth in businesses’ advertisements, which mostly highlight that they have the newest products. The most important reason is that companies’ income increases significantly by encouraging more customers, and I believe that this trend has more detrimental consequences not only for individuals but also for the products. On the one hand, it is undeniable that companies need more money to survive in the modern competitive world, leading businesses to use some tricks to influence customers. In this way, advertising agencies recognize that individuals are more likely to purchase new goods to experience something fresh or be up-to-date; thus, the most common method is to put a new label on the products. For example, most people want a new version of a smartphone because the brand persuades them that the last version is too old for use, so every year people are more willing to buy a new brand phone. In my view, this trend is often more profitable for businesses, not ordinary people. In fact, customers are manipulated by advertising experts. For instance, the Apple company in order to encourage their users to buy a new phone and also to emphasize their advertising motto, sometimes deliberately creates some critical issues with the last version of their phones. In addition, sometimes the feeling and experience of the customers cannot be real because the new product is not actually new, and only the packaging is in a new color, like Dyson, which nearly every holiday or special events lunches its new products; however, the product is just the same as before in a new color addition. As a result, more and more customers are encouraged to buy a new product even if it is not quite different from what they might have in their homes. In conclusion, more companies sell their products by putting stress on the newest version. While their actions mostly have a vital impact on their income; in my opinion, this has no advantages for customers, and people face the drawbacks.

The Rise of Alternative Medicine

Response: In today world, unfortunately, an increasing wrong trend of using medicines without consultation with doctors, or trying unsafe methods can be seen. I firmly believe this is a negative approcah as it can lead to various negative impacts, both individually and socially. To commence with, there might be several personal consequences which are not negligible by no means. For instance, there is a term called drug resistance, resulting from using antibiotics without having enough expertise. When an individual’s body faces this problem, it is extremely difficult to treat the illness as microorganisms are stronger. As a result, these persons have to spend more money and time to cure a problem which could have been treated much easily if they had undergone treatment with the supervision of their doctors. On the other hand, many social problems can be emerged as a result of this trend. After a while this approach can be more conventional among different age cohorts. One of the potential results would be side effects of using drugs, leading to some major problems like seizure or CVA. Treating these medical problems is not an easy task, requiring a notable amount of money, knowledge, time and medical facilities. Providing all of these required factors put a huge stretch on health care system. In addition, this negative consequences even could be worse when it comes to talking about pregnant mothers as some medicines can lead to deliver of children with abnormalities. To sum up, using drugs and hazardous methods instead of visiting and consulting with an expert doctor is a negative trend, and could lead to some irreparable health issues.

The Primary Aim of Science

Response: It is believed that science should be considered as a key to achieve public wellbore while I may acknowledge the reasons behind this view, I strongly disagree due to the variety of science and unwilling Consequences of it. To begin with, science has a majority of aspects which they do not necessarily rely on individuals life. Science often advances due to commercial interests or understanding the universe. The pursuit of knowledge is valuable even if it doesn't immediately improve lives. For example, space exploration may not directly impact on social life, but those who are in favor of it believe the necessity of such knowledge cannot be neglected. Also, some scientific endeavors give way to promote the commercial, such as some cosmetic surgery or inception, which they have no effect on people's lives. Moreover, despite the good-nature of science, some of it is widely use for immoral goals. Sometimes advancement of such science can serve as a determining factor for humanity. For instance, Nuclear technology, which is becoming one of the most concerning issue these days, is a potential danger to all kind of living organisms. It is said that Professor Radvard, who discovered it, apologized people when he realized the devastating nature of this power. To sum up, it is unrealistic to expect all scientific advancements are aimed at improving people's lives as the number of them pursue different purpose and may even have harmful effect on individual's life.

The Main Environmental Problem: Species Loss vs. Other Issues

Response: The extent to which discovering environmental issues has been a topic of debate among some. The first viewpoint posits that the main problem is connected to the loss of some kinds of flora and fauna while others including myself hold the view that other environmental problems such as pollution and climate change are more important. Regarding the first view, it is said that biodiversity has a vital impact on ecosystem balance as they have their roles such as pollination, water purification, and nutrient cycling, which are all necessary for human survival. Consequently, the extinction of keystone species can trigger detrimental effects, disrupting the entire ecosystem, and leading to irreversible damage. If we cannot manage these serious problems, we will face the eradication of many species like dinosaurs. Shifting to the second school of argument, they believe that in the modern area, a majority of causes have negative effects on the environment. As a case of this point, the form of human lives has changed over time as a result they produce more pollution due to their activities in manufacturing or using private cars. Moreover, research demonstrates every year humans cut down millions of trees in favor of producing paper or toilet paper that they use every day therefore, this course of action will impact to loss of some species. On the other side of the spectrum, environmental problems are more widespread compared to the extinction of particular species of plants and animals. Despite the first view of argument, they are of the opinion that in case of the eradication of species is a significant concern, however, larger issues such as pollution, and deforestation are more crucial. In this point of view posits that the root of all these problems are related to humans. Furthermore, every individual with change their way of life not only they will pave the way for reducing problems but also mitigating the extinction of flora and fauna. In conclusion, it is logical to accept that the loss of some animals and plants has become an urgent matter among some, other problems are more important because all of society is responsible for decreasing them in order to protect ecosystems.
