Global Availability of Food Products

Response: The accessibility to various nations’ foods by purchasers has become tremendous in a wide number of lands in Hyper Stores. From my perspective, this phenomenon is a positive one. Cultural exchange is one of its most significant merits. As a result of the worldwide availability of numerous country’s cuisines, eaters might be fond of having more information regarding not only the recipes of those meals but also concerning those indigenous individuals who have cooked them. Therefore, by either exploring the Internet or asking local people, such as the cook or the chef of that restaurant, their traditions and thoughts can be transferred. The economic boom is another affirmative impact of this happening. Along with food, other endemic products of different regions can find the potential to attract those clients who have eaten those areas’ dishes due to being interested in their cultures. To exemplify, once eating Ainu, a reputable and scrumptious Japanese cuisine, an American could be provoked to wear a Kimono, the traditional costume of Japan, to complete their sense of joy and simulate a quite Japanese atmosphere. Moreover, taste growth is a great achievement of the vast availability of global meals. Although many territories possess plenty of flavors, there are still new ingredients in the world to be tasted. If a multitude of national meals enters the international market, foreigners get familiar with some tastes that they have not ever experienced, and this can lead to flavor diversity. For instance, Europeans are often disinterested in Thai food, which is drastically spicy, and owing to meeting that on their grocery shopping and purchasing a sample, the tendency to get used to this never-tasted item is very likely to rise. To conclude, the food market has become global in the majority of districts, and by visiting shops and malls, they can be bought by the customer. This trend has some advantages, such as transferring cultures, economic expansion, and development in flavors.

Response: Saving cash matters for the futuristic perspective of life for the majority of individuals, especially the young generation. Personally, I agree with this mindset. To commence with, the economic crisis leads society to be more cautious regarding its future. Due to an increase in living expenditure on the one hand, and unstable current incomes on the other hand, every person would rather possess some safe investments. Therefore, unexpected financial disruptions can be afforded more conveniently. To exemplify, sky-rocket inflation and joblessness have become so commonplace in the Middle East, and the capital in a checking account can play a vital role in meeting a jobless folk’s primary needs once losing their careers. Reaching milestones is another reason for this trend. Anyone has imperative monetary goals that require an abundance of wealth, and these targets might be achievable if their economic resources are collected gradually. For instance, purchasing a home may be more probable for young couples only if they specify a part of their monthly revenue to this objective. Moreover, physical and mental issues have been threatening the community in recent years. As a result, along with taking care of themselves, everybody should deposit currency to their banking accounts and invest in fixed or current assets to ensure that during the sickness, their disorders can be gotten over without any need to borrow money or ask for a loan. To illustrate, during the outbreak of COVID-19, numerous employees were infected by that virus, and if they had belonged secure checking accounts, they would have been able to not only provide expensive vaccines and treat their diseases but also prepare their necessities when they were deprived of working owing to their infections. To conclude, although living in the moment and spending as much as possible sound joyful, as a consequence of the changeable situation of the contemporary world, it is wiser to devote some of the salary to be saved. In this case, recession as well as sudden corporal and intellectual breakdowns can be handled. Besides, the process of acquiring aims can be passed step by step.

Response: It is a debated topic whether people should take risks in different aspects of their lives. Although it has advantages such as arising new opportunities or growing as a person, it has its downsides: experiencing setbacks in the professional part of life and losing great relationships due to a drop in reputation. This essay will cover them in further detail. First, taking risks opens doors for some leading to job promotion or a salary raise in terms of profession. Some companies believe innovation and changing things up can benefit business, hence when workers, especially marketing managers, come up with intelligent ideas, bosses give it a try in hopes of successful revenue. This is a famous method used by engineers. Secondly, being risky when it comes to personal life can develop a person in terms of resilience nullifying them to commonly unpleasant experiences, technically insinuating exposure therapy. Individuals with social anxiety and fear of public speaking eventually stop being scared with repetition. However, it is not fail-proof; thus, major setbacks can occur after making risky decisions. Opposing the first advantage, financial stability and job security are under threat due to lapses in judgment. In addition, personal connections are at a gamble. For instance, proposing in the early stages of a relationship can negatively impact the bond between the two individuals leading to failure. To conclude, while taking risks in personal and professional lives is pivotal for advancements, it has its pros and cons. The upsides are the arising opportunities and the personal upgrades such as improved patience that comes with it. On the other hand, the disadvantages are significant loss in job security, relationships, and reputation.

Response: In modern life, many individuals are becoming more interested in having their own residence instead of renting one. The following paragraph will shed some light on the main reason for this trend, and why I completely believe that this is a positive development. To begin with, one of the primary reasons for this phenomenon is that, for many people, owning an independent house is a social status. To illustrate, numerous individuals from different parts of the world perceive having their own building as a sign of wealth and respect. Many families in Jordan, for example, live in their residential complex and refuse to rent an apartment, even though it would be financially challenging to build or purchase a private home. Another point to add is that for some nations living in a rented residence is a kind of shame and gives an image that the parents are unable to secure a safe house for their children. However, I am strongly convinced that such a practice is a positive situation. This is because purchasing an independent house is a long-term investment. To elaborate, housing is a successful investment for the future as its prices normally rise over time. For instance, an individual with an average income may buy a flat today and sell it if they encounter sharp financial issues in the future. Furthermore, a private house is considered a safe area for children to grow up with privacy and security. In conclusion, while holding a high social status is the main reason why some people are in favor of having their own residence, investing for the future and providing a safe environment for kids are the reasons why I totally believe that this is a positive trend.

Response: In contemporary society, the emergence of driverless vehicles has sparked a range of conflicting opinions. While some individuals argue that this mode of transportation enhances safety and reduces labor costs, others contend that it poses significant challenges, such as job displacement and financial strain. Although there are notable advantages to driverless vehicles, I firmly believe that the disadvantages outweigh these benefits. On one hand, driverless vehicles significantly enhance the safety of journeys for passengers. This is largely due to advanced technologies that allow these vehicles to navigate roads with precision and agility, effectively avoiding obstacles and minimizing accidents. For instance, Tesla's introduction of autonomous cars has reportedly led to a 5% reduction in accident rates in the United States in 2023, attributed to their sophisticated navigation systems and rapid response capabilities in unforeseen circumstances. Consequently, this suggests that passengers can enjoy a more secure travel experience without the anxiety associated with human error or traffic violations. Furthermore, another advantage of driverless vehicles is the potential for labor savings. By eliminating the need for human drivers, these vehicles free individuals to pursue other career opportunities that may offer greater financial rewards, such as teaching or office work, thereby improving overall living standards. Conversely, the rise of driverless transportation threatens employment opportunities for many individuals. Taxi driving represents a vital source of income for numerous people, particularly those who may not meet higher educational or skill requirements. The transition to fully autonomous vehicles could lead to significant job losses in this sector, contributing to increased unemployment rates and negatively impacting the economy. For example, a driving company named Alibaba in China replaced its fleet of human-driven cars with driverless alternatives in 2023 to enhance efficiency and safety for passengers. This shift resulted in substantial layoffs, adversely affecting many employees and leading to a noticeable decline in the company's profitability. Additionally, the limited accessibility of driverless vehicles due to their high production costs presents another challenge; many low-income families may find it financially burdensome to adopt this advanced technology. In conclusion, while driverless vehicles promise safer journeys and potential labor savings, I contend that these advantages are overshadowed by significant drawbacks such as widespread unemployment and financial pressures on consumers. As society navigates this technological shift, it is crucial to consider both its implications on employment and economic accessibility.

Response: It is claimed that in the future driverless cars will dominate the market. Although this situation causes some drawbacks, I believe its merits outweigh them. On the one hand, I admit that all cars, buses, and trucks being driverless has some disadvantages. Firstly, this shifting trend may result in an increasing unemployment rate since there are people working as professional drivers, such as taxi and other public transportation drivers. Transportation is a big industry, and this trend would destroy its job opportunities. Secondly, it may be a real challenge for governments since they should legislate new laws for these types of cars, which are highly complicated. For instance, if someone is hurt because of a driverless car accident, finding the responsible party for it is not easy. There will be confusion about whether the car's producer is responsible or the passengers. However, there are stronger advantages. Initially, human errors play a key role in car accidents all over the world. By introducing driverless vehicles, these types of mistakes are eliminated, which results in a decline in car accidents. Additionally, car renting schemes are practical with these cars, as people do not need to own a car. This is a huge advantage for individuals because they can rent a car that is suitable for their current needs. Apart from that, this situation helps people with disabilities as they can just sit and do not need to drive the car. In conclusion, while driverless cars have some drawbacks, these are outweighed by their merits.

The Influence of Advertising on Consumer Behavior

Response: A number of people believe that advertising can be considered an effective approach that influences consumers to buy goods. However, others claim that it is so commonplace that it can no longer grab people’s attention. Although advertising is becoming more common in people’s view, I think it is still extremely powerful because it has been designed to convince people to purchase consumer goods in an unconscious way. On the one hand, it might be argued that people have been fed with enormous advertisements, especially on social media platforms. As a consequence, people may become very insensitive to what those advertisements are promoting, and most of the time, they seldom browse web pages without paying enough attention to online advertisements. However, I totally disagree with this argument because if advertising did not yield sales, most social media companies and influencers who endorse products would not become affluent. On the other hand, there is an opinion that advertising is good at inspiring people to buy things. For example, many manufacturers and big companies use plenty of advertising techniques like celebrity endorsements and snob appeal to manipulate people’s minds to buy their products. Furthermore, most of the time, these kinds of advertisements are more appealing, and as a result, it is hard to resist the temptation of buying. I agree with this viewpoint because people purchase impulsively, buying things they might not even have thought of if the advertisement had not planted the idea in their heads. In conclusion, while some people believe that the overwhelming amount of advertisements may make people get used to them, I believe it is still very effective because it creates the desire in consumers to purchase products.

Response: Some vehicles such as trucks and buses will change to autonomous vehicles. So, all of the people inside these vehicles are passengers. In my view, this subject's demerits are insignificant compared to its benefits. In the following essay, I will discuss its merits for urban issues and passengers as well. On the one hand, in recent years some problems like traffic congestion and vehicle accident rates, have experienced an upward trajectory and acting as a barrier to urban design and causing people dissatisfaction in society. In my opinion, to tackle these problems self-driving vehicles contribute to decreasing several human errors caused by fatigue or breaking the law of the driver, some examples of which include illegal speeding, not paying attention to traffic signs, and not keeping a distance allowed to other drivers. On the other hand, the population of people who trust state-of-the-art technology has increased. For instance, every society has some people who are not interested in using means of transportation such as buses due inter alia to the carelessness of the driver and its failure to choose the right path. But when the government uses driverless buses as a mode of transportation these people are keen on using these buses because they think there are more reliable than humans. In conclusion, utilizing autonomous cars in the city brings an avalanche of benefits to society and urban environments. Not only can this method cut down the traffic congestion and accident percentage but it can also cause more convince from almost every person.

Response: Nowadays, the worrisome amount of sugar in industrial foods and drinks causes many sugar-related diseases for most people who consume them. In my view, the government should increase the prices of products with a high sugar proportion to discourage people from buying them. In this day and age, people because of their life-peace speed which is rapid do not have sufficient time to do exercise. Thus, at a minimum, they should have a healthy diet to hinder diseases, some examples of which include cardiovascular diseases as well as high blood pressure. Sugary products are recognized as the biggest barrier in this approach. Because of their taste, accessibility, and price, they are appeal to all ages. Raising the rate of selling of sugary products worldwide rings a bell of alarm for societies and governments. In current years, some countries have taken major steps in this field. Changing their society's taste is far from easy for them nonetheless, they can increase the cost of these products to prevent people from buying these groceries. For instance, the France government not only increased the price of foods and drinks with high sugar ratio but also took more tax from people buying these kinds of products. Soaring inflation rates force people to save money and reduce the cumulative cost of living. Raising the cost of these sugary products affects people's purchasing and decreases it. In conclusion, the far easiest way for policy-makers make contribute to cutting down the usage of sugary products is by changing the prices and make these stuff much more expensive. From my perspective, this method brings tremendous benefits to society and creates more healthy diets for them.

Response: Most foods and drinks, which humans use daily, are high in sugar. These products play essential roles in the rise of the risk of various diseases. Some people argue that by increasing the price of sugary products, a reduction in consumption can be achieved. I partially agree with this statement. This essay shall highlight my opinion in the upcoming paragraphs. To begin with, food items ' cost is the primary factor for most consumers whenever they purchase goods for their household. Therefore, if the government raises this product's cost, the consumer's focus will be shifted away from buying them. For example, alcoholic drinks are one of those that are not only popular among people but also high in sugar. Also, decades of research and country experiences worldwide have demonstrated that increasing the price of alcoholic beverages through taxation is one of the most cost-effective policies to lower drinking levels. Secondly, raising the price of sugary goods becomes more and more practical when the public is made aware of how harmful sugar can be. In addition, media can play a significant role in that case. To be clear, inviting doctors and leading dieticians to TV programs, who determine the appropriate amount of sugar consumption that has the least harm to health, is beneficial. They can also inform people about the common health problems caused by overeating sugar, including diabetes, heart attack, and obesity. On the other hand, increasing the price of products containing sugar is unsuitable for some daily sugary products, including rice and pasta. These are essential ingredients that every person should have them in their diet to have physical and mental health, so increasing their price can cause huge problems through eliminating from human's diet. For instance, rice is a key source of vitamins, which directly plays a considerable role in the human health of hair and skin. Furthermore, not eating rice causes beriberi illness. In conclusion, overeating sugary products will endanger human health in the near future. One solution to solve its problem is to raise these product cost. however, I agree with this recommendation, but it should not contain all types of high-sugary manufactured products, especially rice, and pasta.
