The Importance of Taking Risks in Life

IELTS Writing Task 2

4.0
Response: One behavior that has major impact on peoples lives is taking risks, both in cariers or their family lives. I believe that paternity risk can be like gambling and in the same way it can cause addiction to repetition or divorce due to financial problems caused by paternity risk in capitalism or loss of money and job and sometimes people's lives. so I think the bad effects are more than good ones. On the one hand, in my opinion gambelling has two much similarity with being a risk taker. First, both may has a relatively big benefite or damage, they just can destroy a life with a little mistake, and that is not wisely, for example, one person has been always saving for his child future, but now he is tired of this situation and starts taking risks and invests in a foreign exchange trading market, but contrary to his expectations, the value of his stock falls the next week and thus his initial capital is halved. In addition his wife can not stand this situation and gets divorced. You may think it is a imaginery storey but infact it happend to my uncle, so that is how a risk can destroy a family. On the other hand, in some occasions taking wisely risk in necessary. But, some people stuck in where they are now and do not imagine any progress or promote in their carier or financial level, as they always scare of taking risk and loose whatever they already own. The benifites that comes with risking are overnight successes, improvements without such difficulties, migration to better places, or career advancements, or even marriage, because I think starting a family is a risk. In conclutio, I believe taking risk is somthing necessary in our lives otherwise we will stuck in wherever we are, but if we decide on it with open mind and thinking straghtily and dicide wisely, in addition if we do not do so we will se our self in a swamp of misery.

Advantages and Disadvantages of an Aging Population

Response: Some contend that the growing population of elderly people imposes burdens on governments' shoulders, while others believe that this demographic growth is far more beneficial in the face of its downturns. Although this phenomenon comes with its fair share of benefits, I have an inclination towards the former perspective. The higher number of elderly people offers benefits at both society and family levels. Elderly people are great sources of experience and knowledge. It is believed that their wisdom can be used in socioeconomic decisions in order to prevent repetitive errors. For instance, the knowledge and experience of an old person who lived during the Second World War can be used in order to address conflicts in their primary stages and prevent devastating consequences. Secondly, grandparents are a great help to working parents. In today's society, where parents spend most of their sociable hours in professional settings, having a reliable source to take care of their beloved children has a positive impact on both parents and their children's well-being. By alleviating stress levels and childcare concerns among parents and offering thorough care through which meaningful relationships can be built between grandparents and grandchildren, elderly people's presence provide invaluable advantages. However, the ever-growing population of this specific demographic not only imposes a further burden on the healthcare system but also endangers the society's economy. Old people have weak immunity systems and are more susceptible to diseases. As a result, they pay more visits to doctors and healthcare systems. For instance, polypharmacy and exorbitant prices of annual vaccinations are common problems that old citizens bring about. Furthermore, these retired citizens can have negative impacts on the economy. These people are usually unable to work efficiently at older ages and are asked to leave professional settings. Therefore, a growing population of this group presents a workforce shortage for industries, ultimately paralyzing the society's economy. Additionally, providing monthly pensions for elderly people is associated with higher taxes and more pressure on lucrative individuals. In conclusion, I am of the opinion that aging populations bring about problems that outweigh the advantages.

The Impact of Encouraging Children to Achieve Their Dreams

IELTS Writing Task 2

Response: In many societies, children are given the message that if you attempt difficult, every thing is achievable. I am going to talk about the cons and stars giving this idea to their minds and why I disagree with it. On one hand, I want to discuss about some benefits mentioned by some people. They think growing the children with the idea that nothing is impossible will give them the enough confidence and motivation to work hard for their dreams, without mentioning how big is that. The parents who use this method believe that learning the babies to be positive, has a best result in their working. For instance, in some cultures, young kids are encouraged only if they finish their jobs with the goal, without pointing the way they go and all of trying. On the other hand, some other parents raise their children with saying that effort doesn’t always work truly, and I totally agree with them according to my personal experience. Giving this advice to a child that if you attempt hard everything is possible will have negative reflection. In addition, when he do not reach to the specific result after trying hard, it give them the sense of weakness and unworthy, and might even discourage them from working again. One example of that is a student who study so much and accepted in medical university but can not go there due to financial problems, so it will have a sever effect on his assurance and mental status. Lastly, in my point of view, the cons are greater than the pros, because while teaching anyone that efforts always pay off, it lead to awful results on the resolve of total era.

Urban Migration and Its Impact on Rural Areas

Response: Suburban residents migration to cities is a widespread phenomenon. This reduction in the rural populace comes with its fair share of advantages and downturns; however, I am of the opinion that its negative impacts outweigh the benefits. Moving to urban areas is believed to be beneficial not only to individuals but also to wildlife. Rural areas usually do not have sufficient amenities needed for certain professions; thereby, moving to urban areas might open doors to uncharted territories by venturing into which individuals will be able to unleash their potential. Moreover, human beings have extended their living areas at the expense of destroying floras' and faunas' habitats. This practice is usually uncontrolled in the countryside, where people are not educated enough to consider the long-term effects of their actions. Therefore, poaching, ungovernable fishing, and wilful tree chopping represent a concerning issue that needs to be addressed. With the displacement of suburban residents, wildlife gets a chance to rejuvenate and lower the extinction rates. Meanwhile, migrated individuals get a chance to cherish their hometown reservoirs by receiving a thorough education on pressing matters and learning the importance of controlled usage of natural resources. However, the exodus from lands to cities can bring about damaging consequences both for individuals and society at large. People aim to migrate in order to ameliorate their lives; however, hopes for a better life are often dashed as overpopulation puts an enormous strain on the infrastructure of cities and their ability to provide basic needs. Unable to provide decent housing, inadequate education for one's children, and low quality of life in shanty towns can trigger the high mental pressure already imposed by the alienated, frantic pace of life. This lack of serenity and unaccustomedness can cause irreparable repercussions, such as chronic anxiety and depression. In addition, Healthy, nutrious food consumption is an integral factoral of overall well-being. As farmers migrate, the sheer number of workers on land will decline, and harvests and domestic animal breedings will fall accordingly. This shortage in food provision can cause famine across the country, and hinders citizens well-beings. In conclusion, the allure of urbanisation pales in the face of food shortages and mental health issues.

The Rise of Alternative Medicine

Response: Recently, people tend to treat their illnesses and medical problems by using various medicines and remedies rather than making an appointment with their doctor. I am of the opinion that it has noticeable negative effects. To begin with, most of the drugs have side effects which people might not be aware of. These chemicals affect our bodies in numerous ways, although curing the sickness. Since individuals are not familiar with all of those effects, they might overuse the medicines and hurt themselves unconsciously. Additionally, some drugs may interfere with others that were consumed on a regular basis. In this case, the new drug is likely to wash out, aggravate or reduce the influence of the vital medications. For instance, if a person who takes Aspirin once a day catches a cold, and avoids visiting a doctor, they will eliminate the effects of both drugs by taking the cold tablets on their own. Another argument for this is that doctors are too busy and they set the appointment on a later date, on which the patient will heal. Moreover, people know how long it takes to see a doctor, so they decide to find and try different medications in the meantime. However, after going through this process many times, they become an expert in finding treatments, so they refuse to make an effort in order to visit a specialist. Consider a patient with diabetes, he waits a long time for the doctor's response, and takes all kinds of tablets for reducing his blood sugar, but this will cause malfunctions in different parts of his digestive system, such as stomach and intestine. In conclusion, I believe people’s tendency to cure diseases with home remedies and alternative medicines, would lead to negative impacts on their health, because of the inconsiderate overuse and interference of drugs.

Driverless Vehicles: Advantages and Disadvantages

IELTS Writing Task 2

Response: It is predicted that all vehicles will be driven without human intervention in the future. As a matter of fact, transportation devices will be controlled automatically, and passengers will make up a hundred percent of people sitting in the vehicles. I think the positive points of this development are more significant than its drawbacks, which will be discussed in the following essay. One possible downside of the replacement of drivers by robots is taking the pleasure of driving. In many communities, driving is considered a hobby which brings happiness for the majority of people, especially the youngsters because this activity involves speed and excitement. There are even some competitions which are held between the most talented drivers who are skilled in driving different types of automobiles. In addition to this, many people go to specific stadiums in order to watch these exciting competitions because there is a great deal of hype in these races. Therefore, if all the cars are driven automatically, people will not have the chance to enjoy driving. On the contrary, if all the transferring devices are monitored by machines, safety will be brought to cities. According to a survey conducted in the USA, driven vehicles using cutting-edge subjects of study, including Artificial Intelligence and Image Processing, are safer. These kinds of knowledge have helped the mankind prevent the accidents taken place in the roads because during a short period of time, necessary actions can be done immediately. Moreover, it is possible that in the future, this technology improves, and cars driven by AI can have interaction with each other, so the risk of accidents can be minimized. Furthermore, if transportation devices, such as trucks and cars, are driven automatically, people engage themselves in other jobs, so countries can progress significantly, in terms of working aspects. There are a plenty of cars driven by many people whose their main jobs are driving taxis and buses, to name but a few. Thus, driving has restricted people to be employed in other businesses. Nevertheless, if vehicles become driverless, these people can choose other careers for themselves. As a result, businesses expand, which can transform the communities to dynamic societies. Therefore, working situations can progress if driverless vehicles appear. In conclusion, it is forecasted that driverless cars will replace cars driven by humans completely. While, it might have some demerits, namely elimination of the pleasure of driving, I claim that the benefits, such as declining car accidents and advancement of working conditions in communities, are more considerable.

The Impact of Sugar Tax on Consumption

Response: It is argued that applying an increase in the price of sugary snacks may contribute to the lower consumption of sugar, due to the fact that the high amount of sugar in produced drinkable and eatable products is associated with many health-related problem. I agree with this statement and some preventive measures should be taken to decrease the usage of sugary products, while encouraging people to enjoy more wholesome meals. First and foremost, when people do not pay attention to their intakes adequately, it would be the government responsibility to take some effective actions in order to reduce health problems for its citizens. One of those measurements can be allocating tax burdens on some specific products, especially sugary ones or make them more expensive due to the fact that they are a serious harm for physical well-being. These actions benefit not only humans but also the overall health of society. For example, if people be obese, they are more likely to stay at home passively and lack of activity can bring about fewer workforce and lead to inadequate financial productivity. Making the products with sugary flavors, albeit useful, is not enough. Some incentive programs can be done to rise people awareness of the adverse impact of unhealthy food on mental and physical health. For instance, providing some deteriorating advertisements due to encourage people to consume less sugary products. Moreover, introducing some shining examples of problems which are the result of consuming these products such as obesity and diabetes, may change the people's shopping habits. Another efficient action would be providing fresh fruits and vegetables in every walk of the city. In conclusion, government play an important role in shaping the people's daily consumption. In addition, some measures should be undertaken in order to reduce the consumption of unhealthy snacks.

Response: It is claimed that some vehicles like trucks, buses and cars will be automated driving which contributes to eliminate the drivers from these vehicles and people only can use them as a passenger in the future. This essay will clarify both sides of the coin, and demonstrate my view that the drawback outweigh the benefits. One the one hand, automatization is one of the consequences of modernity. The more humans are being replacing by Robots or other developed programming programs in many aspects while driving is not an exception. In addition, some people might assume that it can be considered as a great development for both individuals and disabled people. For example, if it reaches mass produced and distribute with affordable prices, it may fulfill paralyzed people dream of driving. However, they are still passengers, this revolution enables them to travel independently specially by car. Another merit of driverless vehicles would be less number of accidents which usually happen by human carelessness due to programming programs' precision as they are perfectly programmed. One the other hand, driverless vehicles can bring about numerous problem, albeit can be considered as a development. One of the drawbacks of these smart machines would be their potential mistakes in navigation. Due to the fact that they work by electricity or other written programs, any error or bug can contribute to irreversible consequences. Thus, this development not only endanger the passengers inside, but also people outside. For instance, even an unknown virus can ruin the program's function while preventing work efficiently and an accident by other cars or pedestrians as a result. In conclusion, despite automated vehicles provide many benefits, they can turn into a disaster if they operation face errors. Eventually, they should be considered as a threat that a bless.

Response: It is claimed that saving money for the future is crucial for individuals while the young persons are not an exeption. I strongly agree that everyone should be responsioble for their future unpredictable expenses, however some people may believe that this is the governments responsibility to provide some financial assistance. In this essay I will argue that why people should save money for the following years of their life even the youth. First and foremost, government supportive schemes, albeit useful, is not adequate due to the fact that national budget should be allocated to different aspects efficiently. Thus. People should not be dependent on others help in order to lack of responsibility for earn and save money may prevents them from enhancing their financial knowledge. Moreover, if a person does not have adequate knowledge about finance, means of investment or unpredictable expenditure, they are more likely to spent their money like water. However, governments can provide some incentive programs such as, some finance courses for all ages which contribute to rising public awareness about how invest properly or what kinds of investments are much more suitable for their age group and income. Eventually this is people who should determine their future by their wise decisions. Furthermore, this action provide a sense of self-confidence whenever they invest and make profits. Thus, learning to save money promote not only numerous benefits for future but also personal development. In conclusion, I affirm that it is a vital skill which should be learned no matter in what age you are due to its importance role in the present and future life for everybody.

Urban Migration and Its Impact on Rural Areas

Response: It is claimed that there is a decline in the population of countryside as a result of rural immigration to cities in several countries. Whilst I believe rural people have right to enjoy higher standards of living, I presume that this trend may give rise to some urban sprawling and air pollution. On the one hand, people living in the countryside usually are deprived from numerous facilities such as, higher educational systems and better healthcare systems. If they move to big cities, for example, they can enjoy attending more facilitated universities and hospitals. In addition, getting graduated from a top ranked university, may enable them to find a decent and rewarding job which contributes to higher standards of living. On the other hand, immigration to cities, albeit useful for rustic people, require a efficient infrastructure. This is to say that, immigration to cities may not only lead to overpopulation but also air pollution. Due to the fact that, urban sprawl is often the result of unplanned city development and a large number of residence who are seeking for a dwelling. Moreover, public transportation might not be able to assist people in meeting their transport needs and the increase in the usage of private cars can lead to air pollution. In conclusion, I affirm, despite the fact that living in a city provides many useful opportunities, the city should be well-infrastructure to be the host of migrants as this action can cause many systemic and environmental problems.
