Response: In recent years, as cities have been providing the newest technologies to residents, the number of people migrating from rural areas to urban areas is increasing. I believe this trend, simultaneously, has both benefits and drawbacks. It is an undeniable fact that people living in cities, have significantly more access to various modern facilities and amenities, such as fast public tranportation, luxurious shopping malls, more job opportunities, etc, compared to those living in countryside and villages. For these reasons, cities, especially megacities and metropolitans, have become much more attractive for rural individuals. In this regard, the boom in the urban population and higher labor workforce in different industries located in the cities, not only will improve the living standard of the whole society, but also, will help the country’s economy thrive in the long-term. So we can say that this kind of migration, is advantageous for the country. On the other hand, continuing this development, may probably lead to such detrimental effects on some areas associated to the rural life, like agricultural industry. In other words, the less people in the countryside, the less workforce for working in agriculture area. According to this fact that farming and agriculture, play a crucial role in the productivity and the independence of the country, regarding producing a wide range of food products, it may have such a negative impact on the nation. Additionally, this may contribute to a period of stagnation in the long-run. To sum up, although moving from rural areas to cities has its own advantages for both the society and individuals, we should prioritze the population balance between these two areas in order to have a flourishing society in various aspects.

Response: Many countries are facing the migration of rural dwellers into urban areas, which has resulted in a noticeable reduction in the rural population. I firmly believe that this phenomenon not only raises problems in the countryside but also poses challenges for cities, which this essay will substantiate. Today, thanks to the stimulating facilities that modern cities provide for their residents, more and more people are tending to relocate from their pastoral homes to vibrant urban centers. However, as the number of people living in cities grows, the demand for facilities will rise dramatically. If authorities cannot rise to these upcoming challenges, it may lead to sprawling cities and the emergence of shantytowns on the outskirts. This, in turn, brings related problems, namely poor sanitation and hygiene, which can create a breeding ground for crime. Conversely, as rural inhabitants abandon their hometowns, these idyllic areas may become desolate without any residents. Because they have left these districts behind, advancement and progress in these areas are likely to decline. Nonetheless, some may view this issue as a positive outcome, believing that fewer people living in villages and the countryside will help maintain their rustic charm. However, in my opinion, the local inhabitants of each area are the essence of those places, and they would be better off staying in their hometowns. In conclusion, while the hectic pace of life and the allure of urban living tempt many rural residents to move to cities, preserving the charm of the countryside is a responsibility of its inhabitants and should be a priority for them.

Response: In many contries around The World, rural people are moving to cities. So the population in the countryside is decreasing. Do you think this is a positive or negative development? examples from your own knowledge or experience. Overpopulation in mega cities, particularly in developed countries has posed governments a great burden, and the most recognized reason is the rural immigration. On the other side, governments have brought this to their own by placing the main substatial facilities and organization in these cities. I believe, although these mega cities need an extensive workforce with toughtful strategies and policies governments can manage the situation more effectively. On the one hand, when governments dedicate most of their budget to provide cities with great services and facilities, it makes the rustics feel overlooked. Besides, when cities become the center of all activities there will be more job opportunities as well. Those in villages who do not desire to work in rural jobs decide to come to cities in pursuit of other positions. I believe about two decades ago this system was working perfectely, however now due to overpopulation the countrysides are expanding. Actually, the problem in here is not only expanding cities but also weakening of rural economy. Rustics are still the crucial part of countries economy, and by their depopulation governments will take the main hit. The demographic rated portray that the population of the rustics has diminished meanwhile the numbers in cities are rising. The worst mistake of govrnment was advetizing the city-life and disparaging the rerul-life. When the delusional idea of livinig a perfect life in cities became widespread there was no cessation there. These demographic shifts were not only the ruslts of job opportunities in the cities, it was also due to the cultural changes that made the rustics more willing to live in the cities. For example, there are more advertisements occuring in the city site rather than rural sites. In conclusion, from both city and rural sides, these changes have caused several problems which we now can clearly see. The outcomes of this situation are destructive to economy and govenments should use proper policies to avoid them.
