Response: While some contend that product advertisements have a significant impact on our purchases, others argue that their mundanity has made them unnoticeable. Although I believe that advertisements can significantly influence one's buying habits, I am of the opinion that their remark has become less noticeable nowadays. Advertising can be extremely influential because of how they are made and human nature . Advertisements are usually made based on algorithms and results gained by social studies. Those who produce these alluring images and videos are aware of individual's needs and pursuits. Therefore, by highlighting one's needs, they can easily pursue one to buy a product. Moreover, as human beings, we seek guidance from other people and try to fit into a community by mimicking other people's behaviours. Watching advertisements, in which users assert the advantages of a certain product, unconsciously captivates individual's minds to reach for the advertised item in order to gain the same happiness as an advertiser and earn a ticket into the user's community. Although the impact of advertisements is undeniable on one's approach toward buying, with the rise of financial literacy and the need for personal uniqueness, advertisements have become less dominant in the business world. Along with the democratization of knowledge among the public, more people have become aware of the deceptive effects of marketing techniques, and are trying to consciously steer clear of falling prey to the allure of these glittering images and videos. Furthermore, modern culture motivates a sense of uniqueness. As a result, people tend to opt for unique, distinguished objects instead of generalized products. In conclusion, advertisements can be extremely influential by fostering a communal sense among buyers. However, as more people have become aware of advertising methods, their impact migh be hindered. The need to be distinct is also a barrier in the way of advertisements success.

Response: While many people hold the view that advertising is regarded as a persuasive and efficient way to buy products, others are of the opinion that advertising cannot attract us anymore because it is really common. From my point of view, although some people still choose the goods they need based on the advertisements, it is becoming an annoying approach to presenting products. On the one hand, a notable part of each society has trust in advertising and whenever need to evaluate a product, they do it by the popularity of that. It is obvious that one of the ways in which a product becomes popular is to advertise it frequently, especially in the media. In addition, they believe that when a product is advertised, an opportunity is provided to be familiar with all aspects of that product so that it is really helpful for customers to compare goods. From another angle, other people state that advertising is ineffective anymore due to the fact that it is widespread and common. During the day nearly most people are bombarded by various Ad in everywhere such as on social media, the street, Television, etc., and often cause some trouble for us including distraction. Moreover, it is too annoying when everywhere someone goes, is encountered by one of these advertisements. For example, in the middle of an exciting TV program suddenly a commercial ad pops up and makes everyone furious. As far as I am a proponent of this idea, nowadays advertisements are too much and pervasive so that they lose their effectiveness and efficiency. In conclusion, whether advertising is an extremely successful and efficient method to persuade people to buy goods or not is a controversial issue. My viewpoint is that these days advertising probably not only is not an effective way but also is considered an irritating approach to convince people to buy a product.

Response: A number of people believe that advertising can be considered an effective approach that influences consumers to buy goods. However, others claim that it is so commonplace that it can no longer grab people’s attention. Although advertising is becoming more common in people’s view, I think it is still extremely powerful because it has been designed to convince people to purchase consumer goods in an unconscious way. On the one hand, it might be argued that people have been fed with enormous advertisements, especially on social media platforms. As a consequence, people may become very insensitive to what those advertisements are promoting, and most of the time, they seldom browse web pages without paying enough attention to online advertisements. However, I totally disagree with this argument because if advertising did not yield sales, most social media companies and influencers who endorse products would not become affluent. On the other hand, there is an opinion that advertising is good at inspiring people to buy things. For example, many manufacturers and big companies use plenty of advertising techniques like celebrity endorsements and snob appeal to manipulate people’s minds to buy their products. Furthermore, most of the time, these kinds of advertisements are more appealing, and as a result, it is hard to resist the temptation of buying. I agree with this viewpoint because people purchase impulsively, buying things they might not even have thought of if the advertisement had not planted the idea in their heads. In conclusion, while some people believe that the overwhelming amount of advertisements may make people get used to them, I believe it is still very effective because it creates the desire in consumers to purchase products.
