Some individuals agree that newspapers are the most effective media for accessing the news, while others believe that other platforms are better. I agree with the latter opinion.
On the one hand, the news that is published in newspapers is more accurate. It is argued that several professionals check the news. Therefore, inaccurate news is less likely to be published in the press. Moreover, supporters of newspapers argue that following the news in newspapers is more suitable for some people. A good illustration of this is elderly people who have had the habit of buying newspapers every morning and reading them. Therefore, they find it difficult to change their routine and read the news on the Internet via smartphones.
However, I stand with those who believe that other media are more effective. Staying updated by other means such as the Internet or TV is more convenient. Nowadays, people can easily access the news on the Internet via their smartphones, which have become a part of their daily lives. Additionally, some people may find it difficult to read newspapers, such as those who are visually impaired. As a result, listening to the news programs on TV or radio is more effective for them. Furthermore, in my opinion, on the Internet people can access a vast amount of news and see other comments about the news as they are not subject to censorship by the government.
In conclusion, while some people agree that newspapers stand out from other media in informing people, I believe that other means are better as they are more comfortable and offer a greater amount of news.
