One of the concerns among governments all over the world is the large number of crimes committed by young people. A viable solution is promoting more anti-violence programs in the education system as well as monitoring social media. This essay will tackle this problem, its causes, and some possible solutions.
The proportion of crimes committed by youngsters is a growing challenge in all countries. One of the root causes of this problem could be the increasing use of drugs among teenagers and young people, which results in more violent behavior. Another factor might be the advertising of illegal and criminal actions on social media. As a result, these activities can become a behavioral pattern for young generations in the future.
Solving this problem begins with how these young people are taught in schools. Along with focusing more on social behavior, violent and criminal actions must be condemned by educators. Another feasible solution is controlling young people’s access to drugs and alcohol, which are the biggest contributors to risky behavior. Developing anti-violence campaigns on different social media platforms is another practical strategy.
While the criminal behavior seen in youngsters is a serious concern, it could be resolved by educating and limiting access to drugs. If implemented effectively, these strategies can lead to long-term improvements for society and the young people in it.
