They are completely aware of the modern technology and a group of people always demand products with higher quality and based on modern technology. Due to the progress of technology, the only way for companies to survive in the market is to be up to date and illustrate their qualifications over their rivals. As a result, it is logical to put magnifier on their innovations. This type of advertisements help them to create new needs for the members of society, and encourage them to buy their new items.
It is obviously accepted that it has several advantages. First of all, products by new features make people’s lives easier and more convenient. Secondly, individuals are encouraged to buy more, and it has significant impact on the economy. Finally, the competitional market makes companies to be more into new technology and it creates a great market for intelligent people to be hired and have a decent job.
Although the benefits of producing new products with new features are undeniable, it has several drawbacks. New products create new demands for individuals, and unfortunately most of the time people’s needs are not essential, and they buy that product just because it is trend in the society. This attitude leads a large proportion of the population to consumerism. It is widely considered that consumerism has negative effects on the environment.
Overall, I believe it is a positive/accepted development at advertising. Not only does it make companies illustrate their positive aspects, but it also helps them to be more innovative and hire people with great potential and talent to make progress in their companies.
