In the future, nobody will buy printed newspapers or books because they will be able to read everything they want online without paying. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement? It is often argued that in the future, people will no longer buy printed newspapers and books because they will have access to everything they want to read online at no cost. Although this accessibility will lead many people to read online, I do believe that some people will remain interested in reading printed books and newspapers. Online books and news are free and eco-friendly, resulting in individuals reading online as opposed to printed ones. Reading online books and news is free, acting as an incentive to read online. As many printed books are often pricey, a number of people cannot afford them. Therefore, they will be attracted to online reading, and there is no need to spend a lot of money on books whether in-person or online shopping. In addition, online books are environmentally friendly, whereas printed books and newspapers cause a lot of trees to be cut down, encouraging people to read online. However, printed books can offer benefits that will attract many individuals to read them. The first benefit is related to eye health. Gazing at the computer screen or cell phones can hurt people's eyes, resulting in pain and suffering from health problems such as eye strain. Moreover, when people read printed books, they feel better in comparison with online simply because they can be engrossed in printed books and enjoy the tactile experience. These qualities cause people to continue buying printed books in the future. In conclusion, reading online books can seem alluring because of being free and environmentally friendly, whereas I would argue that printed books will remain interesting to many people due to health benefits and a better reading experience.
