People who do not use social media networks will always fall behind in career development opportunities. To what extent do you feel that this is an accurate and important prediction? In recent years, it has been argued that in order to succeed and have better job opportunities, people should use social media networks, and they will face drawbacks without them. I completely agree with this statement, as it causes limitations to career growth. Before having this technology, people mostly found jobs through real-life interactions. For instance, connections in university with a professor, other students, and also relatives could secure them a career. Job agents could have also ensured employment. Learning a new skill was limited by courses and tutors, which were not affordable to everyone. Nonetheless, due to work schedules, some found themselves unable to attend these classes. On the other hand, recent modernization has had a significant impact and influence on job hunting. Specific websites are formed, particularly for career development opportunities such as LinkedIn, which offers promotions, job, and research possibilities. Other platforms like YouTube and Udemy have a variety of classes from instructors all over the world that help people improve resumes and meet job requirements. This new method has raised competition between people and also encouraged employees to use their time effectively and seek better chances. In conclusion, I believe it is not impossible to find a better workplace and upgrade our skills without social media networks; however, many career chances will be missed if we do not adapt ourselves to the new technology.
