People live in different situations ranging from very rich to very poor, and they have different attitudes about their lives. However, while some believe that it is best to accept a bad situation, I agree with those who feel that trying to improve such situations is always a better idea.
On the one hand, it could be argued that accepting bad situations may have some benefits. Firstly, this may reduce unnecessary stress. Take money as an example, when people struggle to earn more money they may suffer some stress, but when they accept that they are poor, they will live according to that amount, and they may naturally experience less stress. Second, being in an unpleasant situation generally cultivates patience and resilience individually. Moreover, accepting a bad situation usually focusing on gratitude for what they have. Similarly, they may feel satisfaction during life.
On the other hand, in my opinion, it is always better to try and improve a bad situation. Personally, I feel that striving for change may lead to personal growth and development. In other words, when individuals try to make their lives better, this process usually leads to personal development. Moreover, seeking alternatives for bad situations often accompanies other opportunities. For instance, consider a person who is dissatisfied with his job, if he wants to change his job, he may find very good working conditions. The most important factor is fulfilment. In other words, the more achievements you gain, the more fulfilment you experience. The sense of accomplishment after reaching what you want is highly regarded.
All of this being said, although accepting bad situations may reduce stress, it may also bring more achievements. Therefore, on balance, I believe that trying to improve a bad situation is always better than accepting it.
